InterLab- Features

InterLab is a laboratory information management system designed to support the information needs of veterinary diagnostic laboratories.

  • Laboratory management
    •  The user-friendly data entry screens support efficient management and retrieval of laboratory data within the constraints of good laboratory practice.
    • Following registration of an incoming submissions, samples are allocated to laboratory sections for specific tests. The progress can be reviewed at any time.
    • Allocation of responsibility for laboratory tasks including technicians, section heads and the duty veterinarian responsible for reaching a final diagnosis
    • Analysis of laboratory demand, and categories of client making use of the laboratory
    • E-mail reporting facility for rapid notification of notifiable or nationally important diagnoses
    • Help facility that the user can extend to display on-screen details of SOPs and other details required to comply with good laboratory practice.
